Video Production Services Team Comments on Latest Mobile Marketing News
Do you read Marketing Land? Our video production services team members took note of their latest articles about mobile advertising. It seems that people don’t hate video ads with a passion, especially if they’re short and compatible with their smartphones. The magazine’s writers cited two bits of research to back up the claim. One was a recent survey conducted by AppLovin and the other was a report.
Both articles also revealed interesting insights into the relationship between video length and a person’s chosen viewing method. Our video production services team was not taken back by the statistics. In particular, we were not surprised when it came to infomercials, DRTV and other in-depth videos.
Apparently, they are favored by the same people who prefer to use internet-enabled television and tablets. That makes sense when you consider the size of the screens as well as how and where people use those devices. For example, it is easier to imagine people curling up on the couch or sitting up in bed with their televisions and tablets to watch content than it is to picture them with their phones.
Smartphone and PC users, on the other hand, reportedly prefer snippets of content as opposed to long-winded, video productions. And when you consider that Generation Z already loves using both Smartphones and tablets, the path forward should be clear. Video production services should be used to create both types of content simultaneously.
As a consequence of approaching video production from a multi-platform mindset, advertisers may be able to achieve unprecedented reach, consistency and frequency. And any media buyer worth his or her corner office will tell you that without those three things, advertising is pointless.
